Pino Laricio
Pinus laricio - Family Pinaceae (Conifere)

Extremely resinous wood, characterized by a good texture and mainly straight fibres. It has a good resistance but a low durability. It has a good workability both using screws and nails.
It is used in the construction of naval structures and masts, yard pavements and blocks.

Area of origin: Corsica, southern Italy.
